
The HSRU 2026 Summer Meeting & Summit brings together university leaders, faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellows, institutional delegates, and partners from across the consortium for several days of collaboration, dialogue, and shared learning to advance Hispanic Serving Research Universities.
Hosted by San Diego State University, the Summit will feature plenary conversations, breakout sessions, institutional networking, research and partnership discussions, and opportunities to strengthen collaboration across the HSRU network.
The Summit is designed to create space for institutions to engage in meaningful dialogue around emerging challenges and opportunities in higher education while highlighting innovative practices, collaborative initiatives, and strategies that support student success, research advancement, and institutional transformation.

Thursday serves as the Summit’s primary convening day, bringing together institutional leaders, faculty, staff, researchers, and partners for collaborative dialogue and cross-campus engagement.
